Phu Cam Cathedral

Location: Phu Cam Cathedral Phuoc Vinh Ward, Dist. Hue, Thua Thien - Hue.
Features: This is a church built in modern architecture, designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu designed.
In early 1963, the church began to be starting construction. 1967. Go up the chancel. Next to the body of the church in 1995 basically completed.
 
Phu Cam Cathedral was built with the concept of a new physical structure. The pillars were cast against the wall, running slowly bend forward, soft. Four corners, each corner has three pillars themselves gradually, forming a closed space large enough to hug the sanctuary and the altar.
The church was built in the heart of traditional classical Latin cross shaped base plus two wings extending lap. There are two rows of colored door mirrors located in the upper portion inside the church, toward the middle of the cross-shaped reinforced concrete.

Sanctuary is a circle with the level goes up, on offer is a smaller circle but with marble altars monolithic.
Temporary houses, built close to the church reincarnation, fit into the recess behind and placed on a high pedestal in the center.
 
Two side cruciform church, the left is trying graves German Archbishop Nguyen Kim Dien Philippians (1921 - 1988), right opposite the altar bible.
 
In front of Phu Cam Cathedral has two statues cast: the right is St. Peter, St. Paul's left is the patron of the parish of Phu Cam.
