Vietnam History Museum - City. Ho Chi Minh

Location: 2 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCMC. Ho Chi Minh.
Characteristics: Vietnam Museum of City History. Ho Chi Minh was built in 1929, its precursor is the Museum de la Brosse Blanchard. From 1929 to 1956 exhibiting ancient art mainly of a number of Asian countries. From 1956 to 1975 the National Museum of Saigon. After 1975 Museum of extended area and become Vietnam History Museum - Ho Chi Minh City today.
The museum has two exhibits:
Part 1: showcasing Vietnam's history since the traces humans (about 300,000 years ago) until 1930 when the Communist Party of Vietnam came into the room includes:
- Primitive period in Vietnam
- The period of national construction Hung Vuong
- The period of struggles for national independence (Century 1-10)
- During the Ly Dynasty (centuries 11-13)
Tran Dynasty (centuries 13-14)
- Time Le (centuries 15-17)
- Tay Son period (18th century - early 19th)
- Time Nguyen (19th century - between 20).
Part 2: thematic exhibit some typical of the South such as the Oc Eo culture; ancient culture Mekong Delta, Champa art; Ben Nghe Saigon, the composition of the people of Vietnam, ceramics have some Asian countries. Also on display systems, museum also has a warehouse management system with a number of objects and types of abundance.
